I like 'Color Field', I love 'DG21'.
"Color Field" is like the kind of found Rothko you get when people paint over graffiti.
And I'm glad you love DG21. It made me think of St. Valentine's Day Massacre, just because it was in a run down garage.

"found Rothko", what a great phrase! And a great picture too.

All very nice. Where's the skeleton at? Why is it there?
It's on top of what I think is a metal-working shop at the south end of Ballard Ave NW. Why it's there I know not.
These are all wonderful, although I think the middle one loses out a little in this context because it is the least fanciful/most naturalistic. Also the least blue, I guess. The skeleton is delightful. The dance of death!
I'd make the skeleton my background image if I were allowed any at work....
Bummer! But I'm flattered at the thought.
All very cool shots. We still need to go that walk sometime. I like the way you see.
I'd be happy to hang out with you sometime, and a walk would be fine. But I think a flaneur, or a camera-walk, would be boring for the other person and distracting to me. Alas!
I'll send you a Facebook message.
OMG readymade colour-field painting!
and the way the branch (shadow?) jumps off it as 3D, I'm going to have to remember that.
Check out "The Secret Art of Graffiti Removal" and "the buff" on flickr. Yeah!
