Well, anyone who's still around to read it, I guess.

Is there a cheap, easy program that can convert a series of still to a video? I can put the stills into any file format. Thanks in advance!

windows movie maker does it. just dump them in and select "make movie".

That video was made from a string of pictures I took with my Canon SD1000 on continuous during a fireworks show last year. Using Slide Show Movie Maker (http://www.joern-thiemann.de/tools/SSMM/index.html), a freeware tool, was just about as simple as saying take this directory of images and make it an avi.
