|09:05 pm - Pensinsula Trip: Day One Photographs (Part One)|
First, the good news: I thought I'd lost the card that contained the first section of day one's photography. However, the motel owner at Forks found it, called about it, and will mail it to us tomorrow. Woohoo! So this is really "Part Two of Day One.
But here you go.
Mt. Rainier from Damon Point
Plant on Pilings
Woodland Skipper (Ochlodes sylvanoides)
All the above: Damon Pt. State Park, WA
Western Terrestrial Garter Snake (Thamnophis elegans)
Gulls fighting over salmon carcasses
Maybe they weren't fighting. Maybe they were cooperating. "I know I've taken too big a piece for me to eat, but if you tug on the other end and I tug on mine, we'll both get a decent share!"
No. I think it was more like: "Gimme!" "You can't has!" "Gimme!" etc.
Grass tips writing in the sand
