Fly Amanita (Amanita muscaria)
One of my favorite jokes (until Julie threatened to kill me) was "All mushrooms are edible. Some mushrooms are edible more than once." Luckily, she's never challenged me to test it.

I like taking pictures of mushrooms too. We found some aminitas on our hike I made with Andy, Carrie, and Glen when I was up there a couple weeks ago. I don't always know the names of the mushrooms, but I find myself fascinated by them and they make good subjects for photographs. |
