12:28 pm - Pimp your pictures!
It might just be the way that my LJ reading is shifting, but I think it's the best place for posting and talking about photography or other visual arts. And I've been intentionally adding photographers to my LJ reading list for some time now.

So: I invite everyone reading this to post a photo (or other visual work -- collage, drawing, whatever) or two of yours in the comments here. So we can all see what we're up to, and perhaps meet (aetherially) other visual artists/photographers.

Thanks in advance!

Miss Saturday Night

St Peters Station edit

Lj really is th best place for visual arts, and Ive noticed lately almost a resurgence, plus I dropped a few pppl and added new ones on the criteria that they are artists/photogrpahers/writers.

I've been doing the same -- for quite a while now, the only people I've added on LJ were photographers or whatnot.

I know that feeling. "This one's my favorite. No, this one. No, this one."

I'm not much of a photographer. But my brother has always taken good photographs. This is one of his:

It's been crappy light for photos lately, and these past couple of days I've been too busy to get out in day time but...

I went to my own journal and pretended to be posting and uploaded the image there, then copied the block of text that LJ throws into your post to describe the uploaded image and pasted the text here. Click on the dancer image and you see a bigger one.

I'm sure there are better ways to do this, like Photobucket, but I'm kinda low tech on this subject.

Bo.

Recently, I began practicing time-lapse photography after a camera hiatus. The first subject is my precious Bo. It's not perfect, but it was good practice for learning. http://www.vimeo.com/7856826

My husband and I are currently working on the next project as well as taking a still here and there. My aim is to start posting on my Flickr regularly.
