|05:55 pm - Two more from the Rose Garden|
Woodland Park Rose Garden, Seattle
I really love that first one. Excellent.
That top photo is so beautiful. It looks like a painting.

Oh my. Especially whirlwind. Composition, light, color ... great eye.
Yes, what everyone else has said so far, especially about Whirlwind. The longer I look at Class Act, the more impressed I am with it. There's a story in that photo. I'd be very interested
in what one or more writers came up with if you did Artist Challenges along the lines of what elisem
does. There's that splash of specificity anchoring the abstract. Or is it the abstract that provides the environment the specificity requires to be a photo to look at in the first place?
Whirlwind doesn't generate questions in my brain, it generates the awe I feel when looking at perfection, and the admiration I feel when I see something new in a subject that's been worked by experts through the ages.
Wow, I'm snockered. In a good way. Thank you.
Dood, "Whirlwind" must go in your Greatest Hits file (I am presuming you have one). It's just...wow. Light, color, texture, composition - it all fired on 200%. :)
