The challenge meme! (via marykaykare). Some of these are pretty dang easy, others less so.

*Name a CD you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

This is the easiest. Escalator Over The Hill, by Carla Bley and Paul Haines.

*Name a book you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

A little harder, but I bet it's "Gone to Croatan: Origins of North American Dropout Culture," edited by Ron Sokolsky and James Koehnline. Actually, I bet there are lots and lots of books I own that no one else reading this has.

*Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that you think no-one else on your friendslist does:*

Coup de Torchon, a French adaptation of Pop. 1280 by Jim Thompson

*Name a place that you have visited that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:*

This was pretty tough, because I've done so little traveling. But I bet no one has eaten at The Busy Bee, which used to be at Damen and Milwaukee, under the el, in Chicago.

*Name a piece of technology or any sort of tool you own that you think no-one else on your friendslist has:*

At first I was completely stumped on this one, but I'll go with my 105mm f/2.8 AF Micro Nikkor.

Good News!

I just heard from Adam (Real Change editor) that the WA state senate has passed a gay civil rights bill. The senate has been the hold up for the 20 years that people have been trying to get the bill passed. I'll be heading down later to cover the celebration.

Not bothering with screen shots this time, because you already know how horrifying it can be. hah! Um, anyway, over the course of last night and earlier today (while continuing to print out contact sheets, etc.), I finished level 29. 496 vertices, 101 minutes.
