I, too, like the textures on this one. It looks to me as though you layered a bunch of translucent slides one over the other to build the image. Very cool.

Yes, that's what you do: you make the layers partially opaque (in this case, 75%), and layer them to get opacity. I find it intriguing to think about negative space for a panograph. For example, buffed graffiti that's almost the same color as the wall behind it; or faded ads on the sides of old buildings.

Yeah, chalk up another one -- I really like the depth and richness the colors get when you layer them semitransparent like that. The reds of the brick are particularly nice. Cool technique.
