It looks absolutely massive next to those smaller buds. Colour me impressed.
This is beautiful! Is is the same color saturation technique that you described earlier?

Ravishingly rich. Just lovely. Kinda atypical subject and approach for you, tho, innit?
I decided to try the Orton technique because the light that works best with it (soft and indirect) is the kind of light we have here in the winter.
And, yes, I've intentionally avoided flowers as a subject because they're so pretty to begin with, it's hard to take anything but a good picture of them.
So at least they're old flowers. Hah!
Now I want to experience it in Smell-o-vision.
