Thui is such a jumble. I love it!
Really great composition, lines, color, light. Awesome.
I *love* it! LOVE it! *Gorgeous* angles.
About the only really good thing I have to say for "post-modernism" is that those damned glass boxes aren't as boring any more.
That's good enough to hang on my wall. Would you like to frame it and sell it to me? If you figured out the costs and how much you need to make from it, I could send you a check to get started on the costs. I'd pay you in full by the time I get up there for a visit in September and take it home with me then. Yeah, I think this is one of your best. Great job!
That is just lovely. Good use of the library, too ;)
That would be an excellent image for that crack game I was addicted to a while ago--the one with the jumbled photos you had to piece back together. I had to quit playing as it was eating my brain.
This really is terrific. I like the ambiguity of the not-quite vertical dividing line in the upper left -- you can't immediately tell which building is occluding which, and they flip back and forth, occluding one another in turn, like a Necker cube, or an umpteenth reading of Dhalgren.
I hadn't seen the Necker cube illusion before you mentioned it just now. Thanks!
You take suck amazing pictures. What sort of equipement do you use? Is it something you do professionally, or is it a passionate hobby?
I think (hope) there's a typo in your comment. ;>
It's a passionate hobby. I have a Nikon D70 (digital) and Pentax 6x7 (film) which I use for different purposes.
I've taken a number of classes at the Photographic Center Northwest in Seattle.
(Now that I've added you back, you'll find out how chattery I really am. ;>)
Oh geez....yeah that sould have been SUCH amazing (shakes head). Up with a sick five year old all night, brain still not working. That and the backlash from the Something Aweful post has left me kinda drained. Yes, the pics are beautiful. You certainly have a gift.
